Boys wrestling had a dual against Elkhorn South on Tuesday, December 13th.
Freshman Oliver Tut had one match for varsity. Tut won his match by pin.
“I wrestled great, nice and quick pin,” Tut said.
Tut is the one and only wrestler for his weight class. Tut wrestles the 106 pound weight class.
This is Tut’s first year wrestling. Tut wins mostly by pins with three pins on the season.
Freshman JP Ellerbee had two matches for junior varsity. Ellerbee won one match and lost the other.
“Wrestling is a fun sport, extremely physically demanding, because you can throw someone and tackle them to the ground without consequence,” Ellerbee said.
Ellerbee just started wrestling this year and so far is loving it.
“I love wrestling and it’s one of my favorite sports,” Ellerbee said.
