The Pius X Thunderettes hosted their annual Junior High dance on Nov. 15.
“I have been doing the Junior High dance for four years now and it is always so much fun,” senior Lucy Ring said.
This dance is used as a fundraiser not only for the dance team but also for people in need.
“We use the money to pay for some of our uniforms, and we did a food drive along with it this year so we are helping people in need,” sophomore Ella Schenk said.
This year, the dance team had over 100 students come to the dance and more than half brought canned goods.
“I did not realize how many students would bring canned food, but it is so good to know that so many people are being helped,” freshman Mia Schnabel said.
The dance was two hours long, but all the dancers said it felt quicker than that.
“This year was by far the best dance we have ever had; it felt so quick, and I was sad once it was over,” Ring said.
