The third week of Advent started with an inspiring testimony about love from the viewpoint of Stacy Brass.
“This talk was so beautiful, I felt a real presence of God’s love,” sophomore Emma Sellers said.
Brass talked about how she felt unlovable and shame for her early actions.
“I felt like Stacy really connected with the teenage audience,” junior Anna Buss said.
Brass shared her early motherhood story, and how she really struggled until she found Matt.
“Matt was the highlight of my life, God knew I needed him in my life,” Brass said.
This talk was very impactful towards students, many of whom were brought to tears.
“Her story was so heartfelt, she was so strong, and it was so inspiring,” junior Keeleigh Knobbe said.
This talk encouraged many students to change their ways because life is too short.
“God will always be here, but the sooner you find him the quicker you will find peace and happiness,” Brass said.
Many students were captivated my Brass’s wise words.
“When I looked around, I didn’t see a single person talking, and every student was focused on Stacy’s testimony,” Sellers said.
