The baking club had their second meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13. They made pumpkin pies.
The club members made pie dough which was then filled with a pumpkin filling.
Sophomore Lucas Walker attended the meeting. He enjoyed making the pies
Walker said, “I feel we did pretty good on it, it was fun to make.”
Some of the groups made the pumpkin pies into jack-o’-lanterns by cutting out eyes and mouths with the pie crust, others just poked holes into them with a fork.
Another member is freshman Thien Trinh. She thought her team did well
“I feel like I did pretty well, but I couldn’t do much at the beginning because of technical difficulties,” Trinh said.
Senior Kirsten Shaw is one of the baking club leaders. This was Shaw’s first meeting this year.
“I’m really proud of it the outcome of it, the amount of people that were here, and it just seems like everyone is working together really well,” Shaw said.
