Favorite place on campus: The music room: This has been the place I’ve spent most of my time at Pius. Not only have I made and deepened my closest friendships but I’ve grown the most as an individual here.
Activities at Pius X: Prism Show Choir, Spectrum Show Choir, Writing Resource Center Tutor, National Honors Society
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? Biology: This was the best introduction I could’ve had into the science field! In this class, Mrs. Steenson showed me the various science career paths and ultimately introduced me to what I want to be my future occupation!
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? Knowing I’ve always had my faith to fall back on in my most stressful times has really gotten me through high school.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud of learning how to balance all aspects of my life (relationships, school, work, etc.). While having to manage a lot, I’ve tried to held each thing to its highest standard.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? This fall I plan to attend Iowa State University. I will be majoring in genetics and minoring in psychology in hopes to become a genetic counselor!
