Favorite place on campus: The L/PAC is such a special place to me! I’ve spent a lot of time there during these four years by working on sets and setting up lights for our theater productions. The memories I have made and the laughs I have had in the L/PAC are very dear to me!
Activities at Pius X: Pius Players, Speech Team, National Honor Society, Writing Resource Center, SOADA Club, & Ambassadors.
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class in high school has definitely been AP Literature! The class has taught me how to think about literature and translate those ideas into thought-provoking conversations with my classmates. I have found the novels, stories, and poems we have read to be fascinating, and I will miss the class very much!
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? This education has challenged me to challenge myself to deepen my relationship with Christ. Through my time at Pius, I have been fortunate to be educated by those whose lives serve as an example of what can happen when one focuses on the Father. Because I have been able to learn from these disciplined individuals, my faith has grown.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am really proud my time on the Speech Team at Pius. I was extremely hesitant to join when I was a freshman, but I am very happy that I made the choice to stick with the activity. Speech has led to my improvement as an individual, which is more than I could ever ask from my high school experience.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I plan to study Secondary English Education at Wayne State College!
