School(s) attended K-8: St. Joseph’s
Favorite place on campus: I really like being in the library. It’s super quiet and just a chill environment. I also loved being on the football field during color guard season. It was an adrenaline rush and felt calm all at the same time.
Activities at Pius X: Color guard, Prism show choir, ASL club, archery, farm to school,
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? I’ve loved all my classes but my favorites would have to be family issues with Mrs. Sievert, English with Mrs. Allen, and child development with Mrs. Shonka. I loved these classes because the teachers are amazing! They made the class fun and the class just came together and made the class even better especially in family issues we were all this big family that supported and encouraged each other.
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? I came into Pius with such high hopes for myself both academically and spiritually. To be honest I’ve lost myself in both ways but the more I try in school the more my faith grows.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I think I’m proud of who I’ve became over these past 4 years. I’ve grown as a person, I’ve grown in friendships and I’ve grown emotionally I’m also very proud of my friendships I have (essentially Jordynn Bixenmann).
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I plan on attending SCC to get my certification for early childhood education, then plan on going to Wayne state and get my bachelors in early childhood education and become a kindergarten teacher.
