Twenty steps to make a sandwich!
The annual Machine Contest at Pius X – involving students in the AP Physics (PACE) and Accelerated Physics classes – featured six machines built over multiple weeks, with planning lasting more than two months.
Winners are:
- 1st Place: Big Macs (Theme: McDonalds) – Ryan Aschoff, Trenton Deeds, George Kane, Jack Schafers
- 2nd Place and Judges’ Choice: Krusty Krab Crew (Theme: SpongeBob) –Noah Cao, Ava Carr, Dan Vo
- 3rd Place: The Directors (Theme: Movies) – Maria Butler, Amanda Gutierrez, Katie Schmit
