Students in Building Construction class taught by Don McKee took a field trip to Wilmar Electric in Lincoln, who created a hands-on experience in their shop. Students were tasked with running electrical wire, connecting an outlet, bending pipe, attaching the assembly in a wall, and more. When finished, their connection was tested for a properly completed circuit. We are thankful for Wilmar for creating this opportunity for our students to further learn about real-world opportunities with an engaging approach.
