Another Easter tradition of eggs, with confetti

Students in Katie Hayes’ Spanish 4 class took part in the Easter tradition of Cascarones. Decorated, confetti-filled Cascarones (eggs) may be thrown or crushed over the recipient’s head to shower them with confetti. It is said that whoever has a cascarone cracked over their head will be the recipient of good fortune. They are a symbol of renewal, rebirth and blessings.
