CPR and AEDs in PE

Students in Freshmen PE classes are learning about the critical and life-saving skill of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Instructing them is our very own school Nurse Holly Steinbach.

During this time, students will be taught the proper techniques for performing CPR on both adults and infants, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively in an emergency situation.

In addition to CPR, students will also receive training on how to properly use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which can significantly improve a person’s chances of survival during a cardiac arrest.

The class also covers essential methods for assisting someone who is choking, another vital skill that could potentially save a life.
