Fr. Matthew Schilmoeller ’14 shared part of his story with students at a recent gathering for the Pius Fellowship of Athletes. His classmates voted him most likely to be an Olympian, in part of because of his dedication to running workouts. Eventually, being a runner became his identity and caused him physical pain. He encourages students to find their identity in God, and then to bring others to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Fr. Schilmoeller is currently in residence at St. John’s Parish, and is a Theology teacher at Pius X.
