Senior football players give back to program with table and flag
The class of 2021 is already leaving its mark by giving back to its school!
When the football post-season banquet couldn’t take place, players sought to leave their mark on the program in a lasting way.
Members of the football team, with a little help from others, created a sturdy table for the team’s sideline. The old one was used as a central place for practice plans, water, fixing helmets and more, and had served teams well for about 15 years. Thanks to the Class of 2021 for making this possible!
Funds were also used to add a new feature: a large Pius X flag that can be used to celebrate touchdowns, goals and victories, or to lead the team onto the field. The new table even has a spot to hold the flag throughout the games and matches. #piusproud
