Several Pius X students performed well at the state archery competition. The Pius X team (partial team pictured) earned a trophy by placing 3rd in the high school division. Senior Will Muff placed 2nd and Junior Brody Schnieders placed 4th in the high school boys division. Academic Archer Award winners include Schnieders and Muff. Members of the 2023 Nebraska NASP All State teams included Muff, freshman Grant Torson, and Andrew Furasek (’23) on the Boys Team and Maddie Tinsley (’23) on the Girls Team. 633 students competed in the State Tournament. The NASP Eastern National Tournament will take place in Louisville, Ky., in May.
