The Pius X AcaDeca team won fourth place in Div. II at its national competition, aided by its first-place finish in the Super Quiz event. The national event was held in Pittsburgh, Penn., in late April.
Senior Clair Villa earned the team’s top score at nationals, finishing one correct question ahead of teammate Julius Meduna.
Super Quiz is a relay quiz bowl type of setting, where the students work together to answer a series of questions based on the curriculum.
