Applications to a Military Academy
Applying to a military academy is a two-fold process of completing the application for the elected officials (listed and linked below) to seek their nomination and applying directly to the academy for admission. The military academies are highly selective. They seek candidates who have strong grades in challenging courses, strong ACT and/or SAT scores, physical fitness and leadership. Both are time consuming applications and should be started during the summer before senior year. The United States Coast Guard Academy doesn’t require a nomination.
