Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Endowed Scholarship

Pius X High School was honored to be selected as the Diocese of Lincoln recipient for the Sisters of Charity, BVM Endowed Scholarship project, which seeks to establish at least one endowed scholarship in every U.S. diocese in which the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary congregation staffed an elementary and/or secondary school.

The Sisters of Charity, BVM Endowed Scholarship is intended to honor the hundreds of BVM Sisters who staffed more than 300 schools across the United States, providing thousands of students with quality education, opportunities for development as persons, and solid grounding in Christian values.

Established with a gift of $40,000 on February 3, 2020, the purpose of the scholarship is to assist eighth-grade graduates from Lincoln Sacred Heart, St. John and/or St. Mary Parish who have a history of academic success with payment of tuition for freshman year at Pius X High School.
