Donlan earns high honor for All State Orchestra

Congrats to John Donlan, who was selected for All State Orchestra on the trombone. He is one of only four students from across the state chosen for trombone to earn this honor. He performed with other orchestra honorees from across the state at a concert last month.

Kolbe Volkmer: The journey of faith and sports

Senior Kolbe Volkmer was the student speaker at RESTORE, a monthly event for Pius X students to participate in student testimony, adoration, confession, music, and prayer teams. Volkmer has played football and basketball and ran track. He talked about his athletic journey, his spiritual journey, and how those two intertwined throughout his high school career.

Wrestlers team up for community service effort

Fourteen members of our wrestling team recently prepared and served a meal at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. They also cleaned up following the meal. The wrestlers host their annual Green/Gold Dual at 6:30pm Tuesday in the Commons, and compete in their first event of the season at York on Saturday.
