New hires for school and foundation
Tessa Contreras is from Lincoln, Nebraska. She grew up in St. Joseph Parish and is now a parishioner at St. Teresa’s. She graduated from Pius X High School in 2010. She holds a bachelor degree in Psychology and also studied Philosophy and Child, Youth, and Family Studies at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Tessa

Details for new robotics club at Pius X
The new Pius X Robotics Club will meet Tuesdays and Fridays starting Friday, Oct. 25. Meetings will take place immediately after school and in the school. Exact location to be announced. Newspaper, yearbook earn state’s top honors
Pius X has won the state’s highest honor for publications: TWICE! At the Nebraska High School Press Association convention this morning, we learned that last year’s yearbook and newspaper both earned Cornhusker Awards! Math team earns top prize in event at UNO competition
The Pius X Math Team earned first place in the Data Estimation event at last Friday’s 2024 University of Nebraska Omaha Math Contest. This event allowed all 10 students to compete as a team. “I think it gives kids a chance to experiment with approaches and practice true analytical thinking, since they likely have not
