Grade/Subject/Position: K-2 Special Education at Campbell Elementary

When I realized/discovered I wanted to be a teacher: In preschool and kindergarten I loved how exciting my teachers at St. John’s made learning. My teachers always looked like they were having fun. I knew at that moment I wanted to be a teacher.
School memories that impacted how/why I teach: Growing up I had several teachers that provided me with a safe and loving atmosphere. Going into school each day my goal is to make sure each child feels safe when they are with me and that they know they are loved.
The impact of my students on me: I have a more positive outlook on life. The students and families I work with are amazing people and they motivate me to become a better more positive person each day.
Family Update: I got married to Cole White in 2019. We welcomed our first child, Lorelei White, on May 27th, 2021.
Hobbies & Activities: I enjoy snuggling my daughter, exercising, spending time with my friends, and playing with my dog.
Personal Achievement: Becoming a mom ❤️
My memories of Pius X: I remember when Mrs. Shonewise stopped teaching and took us all outside when it started snowing because it was a foreign exchange students first time ever seeing snow!
