Married in 2009

The Story: We initially met in Biology our Freshman year. I remember being partners for a group project, but we never really hung out besides that. He was on the track team and ran cross country. I was in Math Club and also on a dance team outside of Pius. We hung out with different groups during our high school years.

We both decided to go to UNL and saw each other on our first day of class. We found out we were in the same Accounting class and sat next to each other. We would go out to lunch all the time and study with a group of friends, then eventually started officially dating around Thanksgiving.

About dating a Thunderbolt: I think dating someone from high school is great! Since we were in the same class, we knew the same people and could share some pretty funny stories.

Having a similar high school experience is so great because we have such a special bond. It is fun to see how different we are now and laugh about things that happened during high school.

Life Update: We have been married over 10 years now and have 3 children: Luke (6), Mark (4), and Violet (1). We both love to golf and spend time together as a family.
