Alumni Awards
Each year, Pius X honors alumni for their work either during their time as a student, teacher or coach at Pius X, or for their dedication to their work and faith throughout their lifetime after high school. All are honored at a special event in August as part of Alumni Weekend.
Pius X High School Outstanding Alumni Award
- Are leading a life of leadership and service, and are outstanding examples of Catholic values, virtues and ideals;
- Are leaders in fulfilling our vision to “Restore All Things in Christ;”
- Have graduated from Pius X at least 10 years ago;
- Are recognized on a local, state or national level in their field; and
- Have been awarded for contributions in their profession.

Nominations are required
The selection committee only selects candidates that have been nominated. If you believe a candidate is worthy of induction, please ensure they have been nominated by completing the nomination form. There are four categories: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Media Arts, Literary Arts.
The Mission of the Pius X High School Fine Arts Hall of Fame is to:
- Recognize and honor former alumni, teachers, administrators and community members who have made a significant contribution to the Pius X High School fine arts program or have had a career of notable accomplishment in the fine arts.
- Raise awareness and appreciation of the role of fine arts education at Pius X High School and to perpetuate its proud heritage.
- Serve as a source of inspiration for students currently enrolled at Pius X High School through the celebration of the achievements of PHS alumni.
Hall of Fame nominees must be at least one of the following:
- Alumnus –Â A Pius X High School graduate (who has been out of high school for at least ten years) who distinguished him/herself in the area of fine arts including visual, performing, media and literary arts.
- Mentor –Â A current former or retired Pius X High School staff member, director, choreographer or advisor who has supported, inspired and motivated the Pius X family in the area of fine arts.
- Contributor –Â A community volunteer who has given of his or her time and/or resources for the betterment of the fine arts programs at Pius X High School.
A selection committee comprised of the Pius X Fine Arts Chair (will serve as chair and facilitator of the committee), Pius X Alumni Director, Pius X Activities Director and one or two current fine arts teachers/directors. Other interested people may be added to the selection committee at the discretion of the Fine Arts Chair. These at-large members could be chosen from among parents, former parents, past recipients or community members. This committee will be formed every other year to select recipients to the Pius X Fine Arts Hall of Fame.
Athletics Arts Hall of Fame

The purpose of the Pius X High School Hall of Fame is to honor individuals and/or teams in the following categories:
Athlete
Any high school athlete who recorded superior performance as a participant at Pius X in an NSAA sanctioned sport. Any such person may not be considered until 10 years after high school graduation.
Coach
Individuals must have coached at Pius X High School for at least 5 years. A coach would be eligible for Hall of Fame induction if he/she has retired from coaching or has reached the age of 60.
Contributor
This category would include teachers, administrators, boosters, fans, or individuals who made a significant contribution to Pius X athletics.
Team
Athletic teams are eligible for the Hall of Fame 10 years from the completion of their athletic season of accomplishment. State Championship title(s) are a requisite, unless waived by the board/chair due to extenuating circumstances (historical, emotional, precedent, etc.)
