Mock Trial
Mock trial teams learn a criminal or civil case from the Nebraska State Bar Foundation. The case contains witness statements, jury instructions and exhibits. We compete on both sides of the case (the Defense and the Prosecution/Plaintiff). There are three student attorneys and three student witnesses on each side of the case. The courtroom becomes the state for students to create a realistic enactment of the case. This program enables teachers and students from across school disciplines to collaborate and learn how Nebraska’s legal system works.
