Parents: Kara Foster and Russell Koos
School(s) attended K-8: St. Teresa’s
Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being down at the football field and track, either for Friday home games, sports practice, or just during my off period with friends.
Activities at Pius X: Cross Country, Track, Academic Decathlon, and National Honors Society
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class was Theology 3 with Fr. Johnson, not only was it a fun class but he taught me a lot about morality and the Church’s teachings on many topics, as well as helped me deepen my understanding of the faith.
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? Everything I do in school- tests, homework, projects- reflects God, and that knowledge has pushed me to study and always do my best. In turn, the ability to learn in a Catholic environment has impacted my faith by bringing me closer to God.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud of the relationships and memories I made here, and I know that in college I’ll still have these amazing teachers and classmates to support me.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I am attending Nebraska Wesleyan next year to study Criminal Justice/Social Work. I also plan on running Cross Country and Track as a Prairewolf.
