Parents: Janice and Ed Bosland
School(s) attended K-8: St. Peter’s
Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the library the most. I would sit with my friends and have some of the most interesting conversations. I feel like we should have been a lot more quiet but things seem funnier in places your not supposed to be talking.
Activities at Pius X: Varsity cross country, varsity soccer, Pius players crew, pro life club, show choir, women’s choir, Pius Players design team
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? Ceramics, we were given such an amazing opportunity to do whatever we wanted, which opened a bunch of windows for creativity. I loved being able to go in early or during off periods to work on anything. Also I loved the wheel projects.
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? I believe that God helped me through all of high school not just in a scholarly sense, but in a way that pushes me to do things I don’t want to do. I look up to him for guidance and for a sense of direction.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I feel proud of being consistent with my grades and how much effort I have put into relationships and lifting others up. I am proud that I have stuck with soccer and cross country. I have achieved small goals for Pius X but major achievements for myself.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I plan to attend University of Nebraska at Omaha for pre-medicine and to later earn my degree to become an Ultrasound Technician.
