The 2022 Madrigal showcased the incredible talents of our students as a magnificent prelude to the Christmas season. The event featured exquisite music, dramatic humor, and a delicious meal served amidst the charming atmosphere of Renaissance England. Attendees were greeted by a brass fanfare and escorted to their tables amidst a backdrop of warm candlelight, gentle harp music, and beautiful decor to enjoy Renaissance-style music and Christmas Carols performed by the Pius X choirs. Vocal music directors Todd Krier and Shani Sorensen, the choirs, the Royal Court, the Court Jester, and musicians provided joyous revelry replete with Ye Old English Mirth and Merrymaking at two sold-out performances on December 4th, 2022 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel Grand Ballroom.
