When I realized/discovered I wanted to be a teacher: I always knew I wanted to work with children. I actually wanted to be a pediatric nurse until I realized how much science was involved! After my first practicum, I remember calling my mom and crying because I knew I was doing what I loved.
School memories that impacted how/why I teach: Feeling loved by my teachers, even when I was being obnoxious
The impact of my students on me: I have always said that being a teacher makes me a better mom, and being a mom makes me a better teacher. I am much more empathetic towards my students knowing that I would want my child being treated the same way, with love and respect.

Personal Achievement: Becoming a mother to my amazing children
My memories of Pius X: Too many to name! But especially loved the “freedom” I felt from being a big, bad high schooler.
