When I realized/discovered I wanted to be a teacher: I remember having a moment of realization that I love learning new things. I feel education is the perfect avenue to share that love of learning and help foster that idea into the youth of our community.
School memories that impacted how/why I teach: I remember all the teachers who made their students feel welcome in their classrooms. The ones that took time to get to know their students and ones who made sure you understood the concepts.
The impact of my students on me: My work impacts me personally in a way that has me always evolving. No two students, classes or years are ever the same which forces you to change and grow.
Family Update: I am married to my husband Drew (class of 2004). We have a 2 year old daughter, Lola, and a 5 month old son, Davis.
Hobbies & Activities: I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside and traveling.
Personal Achievement: My greatest achievement since leaving Pius has been becoming a mother to two amazing children.
My memories of Pius X: The best memories were from the beginning of the school year and football games!
