Jesus Meza ’15 married Llana in May of 2020 during Covid. Jesus and Llana welcomed a baby girl, Evelyn Joy Meza, in March of 2022, and another baby girl, Lucia Grace Meza, in October of 2023. They are currently expecting their 3rd child in May of 2025! The family belongs to St. Joseph’s parish now and have enjoyed growing their little family! They love zoo trips, and watching their girls grow, learn, and enjoy everything about life.
Llana is a teacher at Lincoln Northeast where she teaches Spanish and Jesus graduated SCC with an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology, He was a mechanic at a shop here in Lincoln, however the shop Jesus worked at got corporately bought out, and he started to lose interest in the work he did there, and they reintroduced the opportunity to open their new business and began to move forward with the idea investing time, talent, late nights, and dedication to their space nestled in the Edgewood Shopping Center in Lincoln, NE. Little Beans Play Cafe was born!
This space, specific to 5 years and under, there is no other like this space in Lincoln. They had found the struggle of going places that would be friendly to the little ones. Little Beans gives Lincoln’s parents an opportunity to relax, drink coffee, let their little ones explore while developing fine and gross motor skills, imaginative play and more! They were thrilled to open their doors in July of 2024, offering open play passes, memberships, birthday parties and a cafe that offers traditional hand-crafted coffee drinks with so many flavors. They are ecstatic and so very fortunate that God worked through them to bring this not just for themselves but for all of Lincoln to enjoy!
