Details for new robotics club at Pius X

Published

The new Pius X Robotics Club will meet Tuesdays and Fridays starting Friday, Oct. 25. Meetings will take place immediately after school and in the school. Exact location to be announced.

Students will have the opportunity to see the parts and begin exploring builds with the First Robotics kit.

Attendance at each meeting is not required. Students are encouraged to attend when they can and participate in whatever way best suits their interests. A variety of skill sets are needed to make the robot.

There is no fee to be a part of the club. There may be a nominal fee for those students wishing to attend a multi-day regional competition in March.

Corporate and personal donations for the club to cover expenses for parts and competition fees can be made via the Pius X Foundation.
