What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? Modern Literature junior year was my favorite class. I had several of my friends in that class making it even more fun than it already was. Mr. Pfeiffer was a great teacher, he made understanding modern day literature fun.
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith? Going to a Catholic school has helped me so much. High school at times was not easy but having Jesus less then a minute away from me helped more then once. When classes got tough or I was struggling in general, I could go to the chapel and sit in the quiet with our Lord. Having the ability to go to a Catholic school was such a blessing.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud stepping outside my comfort zone. When I started as a freshman, I was shy and introverted. I kept to myself, the prospect of meeting new people intimidated me. Getting involved and meeting my friends helped me step outside of my comfort zone. I was able to try new things with better confidence thanks to the people I met pushing me to better myself.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? After high school I hope to attend SCC and study Dental Assisting. I want to eventually specializing in surgeries. Dental health is so important and I hope to be able to help people with it.
