Hundreds of students taste-tested Brownie Batter Hummus during their lunches today. The key ingredient is black beans (see recipe in pictures), which were locally harvested. Students had the choice of dipping in a cookie treat or a pretzel. This event is part of Pius X’s Farm to School initiative through its Food Services program.

Theater students signed out of seventh and eighth periods on Wednesday to listen to voice actor Dick Terhune speak about his experience in the industry. After an introduction from speech teacher Larry Logsdon, Terhune told the students of a few of the projects he has been in, including a solo performance of “A Christmas Carol.”
Students in Don McKee’s Architectural Drafting class were working on their architectural drawings using Computer Aided Design software.
