Summer Information

*Any boys going out for football must have completed the following prior to practice starting August 7th:

    • 1. Physical that is dated after May 1, 2019 (Turned into the School Office).
      • 2. Concussion baseline test (incoming Freshmen, Juniors, and new students to Pius X) administered by Pius X training staff during the summer.

        • Wednesday @ 8:30 am (limit of 40/session)
    • 3. NSAA parent permission form (Turned into the School Office).

Boys Lifting/Conditioning/Training

*Incoming freshmen boys will have an orientation day TBA starting in the Pius X gym.  Freshmen boys will then begin summer workouts TBA with the below schedule.  Wear appropriate cloths for activity.*

Monday (Core Lifts):

Seniors/Juniors – 6:45-8am – 6:45-7am player led warmups; 7-8am weightroom (Cores)

Sophomores/Freshmen – 7:30-9am – 7:30-8am player led warmups; 8-9am weightroom (Cores)Tuesday (Auxillaries/Agilities):

Seniors/Juniors – 6:45-8am – 6:45-7am player led warmups; 7-7:40am (auxillaries); 7:40-8am agilities

Sophomores/Freshmen – 7:30-8-40am – 7:30-7:40am player led warmups; 7:40-8am agilities; 8-8:40am weight room (auxillaries)

Wednesday (Plyometrics):

All Pius X Students – 8:30-9:30am

Thursday (Core Lifts):

Seniors/Juniors – 6:45-8am – 6:45-7am player led warmups; 7-8am weight room (Cores)

Sophomores/Freshmen – 7:30-9am – 7:30-8am player led warmups; 8-9am weight room (Cores)

Friday (Auxillaries/Speed/Conditioning):

Seniors/Juniors – 6:45-8am – 6:45-7am player led warmups; 7-7:40am (auxillaries); 7:40-8am agilities

Sophomores/Freshmen – 7:30-8-40am – 7:30-7:40am player led warmups; 7:40-8am agilities; 8-8:40am weight room (auxillaries)

1.  Monday’s (on Aldrich Field): After lifting, no helmets, no coaches instruction

2.  TBA (@ LH): 10-12pm, helmets required, coaches will instruct, $10/player fee (includes all 3 sessions field rental/insurance).

*If player plans to attend both the “Skill Position” camp and the “Big-Man or Kicking” camp the total fee is discounted to $75.00.  Please send in a completed form for both camps.*
