school decoration landscaping club“It has been a tradition for Landscaping Club to decorate the chapel and the rest of the school each and every year,” junior Addieana Gonzalez said.

The club decorated the chapel and the area in front of the main office. Georgia Miller, the club’s sponsor, coordinates the decorating process. Most of the decorations in the chapel are made by the members.

Gonzalez has fond memories of creating the decorations the last few years.

“Last year when we were making the wreaths we drank hot chocolate and had a bunch of treats. It was really fun,” she said.

The members also decorated a tree outside of the office that students will be able to see when they walk into school every day.

“It just makes things more upbeat and festive around here,” sophomore Brendon Link said.

The club hopes to brighten up the atmosphere of Pius X in preparation for the Advent and Christmas seasons.
