Any non-profit or organization that is not listed here.

Any type of service for which you are paid or receive any type of compensation. This includes scholarship money or fundraisers that benefit you individually for a club/team or an event in which you participate (ex. raising money personal fees, fundraising for trip or youth activities).

Any type of service for which you receive school credit or is required by another club or organization. This includes, but is not limited to, NHS service hours, Boy Scouts, Student Council, and working camps/events/tryouts for a club or sport for which you are required to participate.

Service done for individuals, friends, neighbors, relatives, even if they work for a valid organization. All service projects must be for an organization and not be a personal project for an individual.

Businesses, clinics, dance studios, the military, as well as worthy groups who are NOT non-profit.

Due to the tax exempt status of Pius X, hours may not be performed for political campaigns.

In addition, work for the following agencies DOES NOT COUNT because their stance on one or more moral issues is contrary to the beliefs of the Catholic Church and could cause scandal or misinterpretation:

• Amnesty International
• Friendship Home
• Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
• Planned Parenthood
• Salvation Army (including bell ringing)
• St. Monica’s
• Susan G. Komen Foundation
