Evening of Ye Old English Mirth and Merrymaking

With a royal trumpet blast, the Pius X Vocal Music Department invites one and all to the bi-annual Madrigal Dinner and Performance! This magnificent prelude to the Christmas season will take place on Saturday December 1st at 6pm, and Sunday December 2nd at 4pm. The grand festivities will be held at St. Patrick’s School Gymnasium, 6111 Morrill Avenue in Lincoln.

Do not tarry in registering for this delightful evening of entertainment where you will be treated to dramatic humor and exquisite music all set in a charming atmosphere of Renaissance England! Join the Royal Court for an evening of joyous revelry where guests will be greeted by a Brass Fanfare and escorted to their tables amidst a backdrop of warm candlelight, beautiful tapestries, and decorated tables.

Dinner will be served in courses as choir members provide entertainment from the head table, not deplete of a Court Jester! These Madrigal Lords and Ladies will also present the wassail toast and traditional Boar’s Head Carol to call out the main course.

Throughout the evening guests will be treated to individual and combined choirs singing Renaissance-style music and Christmas Carols directed by Todd Krier and Shani Sorensen.  An event you will not want to miss!  Reserve your tickets today and help support the Pius X Vocal Department!
